Senior Braden Belew took 1st place at the Tall City Invitational on Saturday in Midland with a time of 15:50.04. Belew, who finished as a runner up in 2024, now has two consectuive wins on the young season after claiming the Warpath Invitational (Jim Ned) last week. Sophomore Logan Hammontree also finished inside the top 10 for the Mustangs at 7th overall with a time of 16:12.14.
On the girls side, decorated senior Mallory West finished 5th overall posting a 12:47.08. Mustang Cross Country is back in action August 30th at the T-Marcus Invitational in Denton, TX.
