National Junior Honor Society

During the 2021-2022 school year MCS began its very first National Junior Honor Society chapter. Our vision is to recognize and reward those students that not only excel academically but also lead others in and outside of the classroom. We want to motivate and challenge our members to enhance their leadership skills and serve the community, while also building their character. Luke 12:48 says, “To whom much is given, much will be required.” We realize we have a high calling and responsibility, and we want to do our best with what God has given us. MCS is a blessed school with blessed students, and NJHS strives to bless others.

The NJHS members want to obey Scripture by using our gifts to serve others (1 Peter 4:10). NJHS provides the opportunity to teach and mentor middle schoolers to be the hands and feet of Christ. This year the members have cleaned up the campus every Tuesday after school and tutored first through fifth graders every Wednesday after school the second semester. Many have completed individual service hours throughout the community.

Our ultimate goal is to bring glory to our Almighty Father. We look forward to expanding our impact this next school year. The members are both eager and willing to do far more! We are excited to see where God leads us!
