The mission of the secondary library is to provide a learning environment for students, staff and parents so they can seek information, develop and share projects, read for pleasure and assignments, study alone or in a group and meet as a group for special programs. The library also aims to train its patrons as lifelong learners who are encouraged to develop their God-given talents for lives of Christian leadership and service.
Library Policies
Hours: 7:45a.m. - 4:15p.m. during the school year.
Students may check out a maximum of two books for two weeks at a time
A fee of ten cents/day will be charged for overdue books.
Students will be charged for books that are returned damaged.
Students will be charged a replacement cost for lost books.
Students must have an Internet User Agreement on file to use the Internet.
No food, gum or drinks allowed in the library.
Copies are fifteen cents a page. Users are encouraged to be aware of copyright laws.
Other supply items can be purchased through librarians: tag board, index cards and notebook paper.
Students are expected to behave in a respectful way and to observe all school rules.
book club
The Book Club meets in the Library once per month and is open to any students grades seven through twelve who enjoy reading! The chosen books are purchased by the Library and are placed in the collection after Book Club uses them.
