midland christian school
There is something distinctly different about the students at Midland Christian School. It's a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn, the carefree spirit of youth as it ought to be. It springs from the blessing of strong moral and ethical teaching in the home. And it is embossed and strengthened by the blessing of Christian teachers and administrators who are as concerned with emotional and spiritual development as they are with teaching academics.
Respect for God, country and one's fellow students is a hallmark of the learning experience at Midland Christian School. Each student attends daily chapel and is enrolled in Bible class each semester.
The Board of Trustees, administration, and faculty believe one of the great blessings of Midland Christian School is the denominational diversity of the student body. The religious composition of the students consists of Church of Christ, Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Christian Church, Presbyterian, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Bible, Mormon and Assembly of God. MCS is a place where religious denominational loyalty is not a concern when it comes to providing a Christian education for the students.
Midland Christian School limits class size because we believe individualized attention is critical to a child's educational process. Our classes average in size from 16 to 22 students, which allows teachers to provide that critical attention. In these smaller groups, teachers become positive role models who can reinforce parental ideals and standards.
Midland Christian School is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and National Christian Schools Association of America.
