Pan Camp 2019

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play the steel drums? MCS Steel Drum "Pan Camp" is a unique opportunity to do just that. Pan Camp sessions are led by Kevin Broome, Director of Bands at Midland Christian School.  There are 3 levels of Pan Camp. Pan Camp is open to students exiting 5th through 12th grade who have at least one year of school recorder, band, orchestra, or choir experience. The registration fee for Pan Camp is $150 ($125 for Level 1), which includes daily refreshments and a Pan Camp T-shirt. What do steel drums sound like?  Click HERE to hear Linstead Market. We will also have an adult session each year.  The adult session is a 2-hour session that takes place on a Saturday afternoon.  During this session, we will have an introduction to steel drums followed by learning a few pieces.  There will be no concert for the adult session.
